    1. Okay, this was a somewhat strange story within this series of mostly fun, light reads. It didn't have the sense of humor most of the others showed, instead, it had a pretty serious and tense storyline about Misha, who needs protection, and Ifan, his new mate. Among all the 'forced' matings (even if the council of Elders refuses to see them that way), this is the one I found most difficult to accept. Granted, Misha needs a strong partner for protection. But hasn't he been abused enough? Now he is [...]

    2. I loved this book. It's going to be hard to review it and not give away spoilers (and I don't like to give them in my reviews) but I'm going to try.Ifran is a rare white Siberian tiger shifter. He's lived for over a thousand years, alone and has given up on the idea that he has a mate and because of that he has become content with his isolation, to the point where he states that he "can't stand people" (I'm right there with you Ifran). Ifran attends the paranormal gathering that's mandated for a [...]

    3. The whole situation seems so stupid. Shifters just biting anyone they can to mate. It's not like they need to mate in the next 20 mins, but it feels that way. Why make them into a bunch of stupids? If council can mate anyone without even their knowledge and consent why didn't they just picked a mate for everyone and skipped the battle field?Misha gets all teary (in a very child like manner) when Ifan tries to leave to arrange for their trip home. It's not like he is leaving him. I'll just try to [...]

    4. This was not of the sweeter stories in this series. No internal hating the mating , no big disagreement or fighting between the MC's.The conflict comes from outside and they fight against it together.I still think Hugo got off lightly and I was surprised Ifan was so forgiving towards him.(view spoiler)[ still trying to figure out why the strongest dreamwalker in 1000 years wasn't able to get out of the situation with his dad and Hugo before, you know go to the elders in their dream and explain or [...]

    5. I do adore a tiger shifter and Ifan was everything hot and sexy. Misha was perfect as his human, dream walker mate. This story was a little more serious than most of these although just as entertaining! I liked the whole dream walking concept, although the elders simply designating Misha as Ifan's mate was a little creepy. They didn't get any chance to choose, even though the Midnight Matings don't leave a lot of choice they still get some, but Ifan and Misha got none. Good thing it worked out!E [...]

    6. Wow, the council went far with this one. Poor Misha has been abused and isn't talking. Ifan is a lone shifter that refuses to mate. This is a fluff read for me. I love Stormy's writing for just the shear fun and happy feeling they give me. This gave an interesting plot. I love how Misha finds his strength during all this.

    7. OMG! Something decent in this series Almost makes up for the crappiness of the previous book

    8. This was my least favorite of Stormy's books in this series and her stories have consistantly been my favorites.

    9. Originally posted at: whippedcream2/201Love has a strange way of finding us when we are not looking for it. Ifan and Misha’s story is no exception. Misha had spent his whole life being used and abused. He is one of those characters you cannot wait to see get a happily ever after because they are just so deserving. His only salvation through of the torment was dreams of his mate. I cannot say I would have the same outlook on life he did. Even though he had every right to have a chip on his shou [...]

    10. Spoiler Ahead This was a really good book that I really liked a lot and I didn't want it to end. The Elder's of UPAC set up the different paranormal's at the Great Gathering Ifan Vashnikov is a white tiger shifter learns that if he doesn't find a mate within 24 hours he will go feral and will die it's find with him he doesn't like people anyway. What he doesn't know that his drink wasn't spiked he was summoned because his mate already knows who he is he is a dreamwalker and has been in his dream [...]

    11. *snort* I love this series so much it hurts. It amazes me that every time I read yet another book, the utterly stupid premise still manages to awe me. And make me smile. And laugh. And so fucking happy. You see, the reason I love this series so much is because it is so fantastically shit that it's fun. Insanely fun. I gladly (and will continue to gladly) sacrifice the multitude of brain cells that died in honour of this book and series.I'll admit this book did seem better than some of its predece [...]

    12. 3.5 starsWhite Paws and A Dream by Stormy Glenn is book eight in the Midnight Matings series. I really enjoyed Ms. Glenn’s take on the forced mating when Ifan decides instead of accepting his fate, he’d rather die and go feral than be ‘married.’ Misha, on the other hand, has been dreaming of Ifan for over a year and wants to be with his new mate. But will outside forces end their chance of happiness before it even begins?Fans of this series will note that this installment is a little dar [...]

    13. My review is in spoiler tags because it hasn't been edited yet. It probable has too much negative stuff as that's what I tend to think to write down. If I'm enjoying myself, I don't want to stop reading! (view spoiler)[I like that Misha doesn't communicate with language at all, including missing or shaking his head. This feels a little different, although the man child thing is tired. How do they know Misha's name and age if he can't talk? He's 7'7" tall. I really doubt there's any further back t [...]

    14. Such a fun series! There are currently 20 books in the series, each book is written by either Joyee Flynn, Gabrielle Evans or Stormy Glenn. They could keep writing more as long as they continue creating interesting characters who shift into all kinds of wonderful and different animals/mythical beings and coming up with unique stories full of romance, crazy drama, angst and let's not forget the very hot sex!You don't have to read them in order, very rarely are other characters mentioned, but each [...]

    15. It' a much darker and more serious book than the other books in the series. It's well written, has good flow and the characters of Misha and Ifan are well developed. I liked the change in the powers of the characters. That Misha was a human dreamwalker was a new and creative change in paranormal abilities. These new powers resulted in Misha being abused by his father for years and there is danger surrounding him and his mate at every turn. There are plenty of secondary characters,Brodelyn, being t [...]

    16. Another addition to the "Midnight Matings" group of stories, this is a fun story of a white tiger shifter and a human 'dreamwalker'. I didn't enjoy this story as much as some in the series, probably only because I didn't quite buy into the dreamwalker idea. The story was enjoyable, but not quite as 'laugh out loud funny as some. In any case, I don't think I could ever give Stormy Glenn a bad rating as she is one of my favorite authors in the m/m genre. I'll definitely continue to watch for more [...]

    17. I bought the 7th, 8th, and 9th in the series and I'll probably have them all read today. As always, love the characters and how much fun these stories are, even though the mates go through some nasty stuff. Ifan and Misha are another wonderful couple and glad that they were able to get settled after dealing with those baddies. Another recommended read if you are up for a fun and interesting time.Recommended===============================1st read - Sep 10, 20112nd read - Jun 21, 20123rd read - Oc [...]

    18. I like this author. Her writing feels less forced and cramped regarding the previous novels. Her characters are also well written. They feel like real people instead of one-dimensional characters like others. Her men actually act like men. No crying or much angst involved. No overflowing drama. The plot was also interesting. The only thing that marred the book was the sudden double personality Misha got. I think it was great he developed a backbone but let's be real one would have a 180º just l [...]

    19. As always you have to take this series with a pinch of salt, as the stories are a bit ridiculous. However they are also a lot of fun and this one didn't disappoint. There was enough plot to keep you interested and the MCs were super cute together. I did have a problem with the ending, introducing small plot lines such as visiting Brodelyn for a surprise and going to visit Hugo but never brought closure to them. The ending felt a bit abrupt because of it.

    20. I have read most of this series--and by far this one has been my favorite--although I did like the pairing of the dragon and the bunny=:) But these characters (Misha and Ifan) really grabbed me--I just wanted them to be together, to be in love and to live HEA--and thankfully they did! The story like most in this series is a fast read and an enjoyable one--often with real elements of humor--this one was on the more serious side and it deserves it's 5 star rating.

    21. Soooois one I didn't understand. Ifan and Misha. Misha is a dreamwalker, but yet, does he even use his power? He says he needs to ask permission, but he never did. I guess I just didn't understand why he didn't try to take over the baddies sooner. Ifan, I had a few issues with him too, like can he not use his senses? If so, how did he not smell other people in the room? I don't get it.

    22. The series gets better and better as each story comes to life. Misha was too cute for words and Ifan gave protectiveness a whole new meaning. The villain gets his comeuppance, and the boys get their HEA. An easy read when one needs to lose himself or herself for an evening.

    23. This one was very plotty. Ha! Is that even a word?Plot. This one had one, besides the pairing of these two guys. I just adore this series. Nothing heavy always lots of lovin's and unique shifter/paranormal matings.

    24. I really like this series. It's cute and adorable. I didnt love this one like the others ive read. It started out really good then when Felix and Hugo showed up they kinda took over. And I kinda have to admit I was sad that there was no pregnancy in this one. Still liked it tho

    25. I can't stop reading this series. I try but everytime a new one comes out I find myself purchasing it. The stories aren't that bad, but a lot of it is a repeat from earlier in the series. This story is not the best in the series, but it's not the worst either.

    26. Maybe I would have liked this more if I had read several of the other books in the series. I've only read My Lupine Lover which was ok.My issue is that I read M/M because I think men are hot. Women with penises, not as hot Unless I'm reading that deliberately.

    27. yay. another Stormy book in this series :) there's just something to be said for how she twist the main plot of this series and makes something interesting out of it, really enjoyed it
